It would definitely require adjustment and a thick skin. In Japan, they also design lessons together, watching each other present. When they get together to discuss their observations, they treat it as a group effort, so no one teacher carries the responsibility of a bad lesson.
Wow. As somewhat of a perfectionist...I imagine having to swallow a lot of pride to do that.
